For years, she’s been helping build Colorado’s election system, writing voting laws, running elections for nearly half a million people, and defending our rights. Now she’s running for Secretary of State to ensure our democracy belongs to the people.

As Jefferson County Clerk & Recorder, Amanda has led efforts to expand ballot access, improve election security, and ensure efficient, transparent election operations in one of Colorado’s largest counties.
As the Executive Director of Colorado Common Cause, Amanda worked tirelessly to expand voting rights, limit dark money in politics, and establish the state’s independent redistricting commission.
Amanda is proud to be the first Latina and openly queer person elected as Jefferson County Clerk. Her leadership reflects the inclusive, forward-thinking values of Colorado.
